The base of this innovative material is made from non-food grade corn, and the final material contains more than 50% plant content. The corn is from a renewable source so the material has a much lower CO2 footprint and is more environmentally friendly than regular vegan leathers. It is topped by a layer of PU to provide benefits such as water, stain and scratch resistance.
Lined with 100% recycled plastic bottles. It is soft and strong like polyester, but unlike virgin polyester, recycled PET fabric has a significantly lower impact on the environment. It uses 94% less water, 60% less energy, and 32% less CO2 to manufacture.
